Harvey Cadillac Points Plus Program

Get ready to shop online at over 300 retail outlet sites! It’s easy for you to earn bonus points that can be used at Harvey Cadillac for future service and maintenance.

Harvey Cadillac Points Plus Program - FAQ

  • What is the Points Plus program and what does it offer me?

The Points Plus program is a free program offering a variety of ways you can save money when you shop with the Points Plus program – you receive online coupon savings or Preferred Owner Service points to use at Harvey Cadillac when you shop through the program web site portal.

  • How does it work?

In order to save money through the program simply shop online with the links provided. Don’t forget you can earn Preferred Owner Service points, too! Every time you shop at a Preferred Owner Points Plus retailer through the program web site, you earn Preferred Owner Service points, which will be added to your Preferred Owner Service Point balance. Points earned may be redeemed the same way as your Preferred Owner Service Points. Points will not be awarded for taxes or shipping. Please refer to Harvey Cadillac’s Preferred Owner terms and conditions (jump link to bottom of this page) for details.

  • Who is eligible for the Points Plus program?

This program is open and offered only to Preferred Owner members who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.

  • Can I cancel my membership at anytime?

Please remember that the Points Plus program is free to participate in, so why not earn points toward future service visits? There is no action required if you wish to discontinue earning Preferred Owner Points. If you wish to cancel your membership in the Preferred Owner Program, please contact Harvey Cadillac.

  • What is the cost to participate?

Not a thing! There is no membership fee for the Points Plus program.

  • How long does it take to see the Points Plus rewards that I’ve earned?

If you do not see your point rewards posted within approximately 30 days after your order is shipped, please contact us. Note: Your Points Plus points for Travel purchases will post approximately 30 days after your travel date.

  • How do I receive my Points Plus rewards?

Points Plus rewards are automatically added to your Preferred Owner Service Points balance. To view your accumulated points rewards go to our program’s website, login, and click on “Transaction History.”

  • Where can I see the Points Plus points I have already redeemed?

To view your total point rewards already earned, visit our program web site, click on “Transaction History” and scroll down to the “Service History” section. You will be able to view the total point rewards earned as well as a summary of each reward point processed.

  • What happens if I return my purchase, do I keep the reward points?

Any returns or credits related to your purchases at a Participating Retailer will be deducted from your spending at such Participating Retailer for points accumulation purposes, or will result in a deduction of Preferred Owner Points Plus rewards already accumulated.

  • Do my Points Plus points expire?

Yes, Your Points Plus points expire 2 (two) years from the transaction date.

The following are the terms and conditions of which you are offered the use of a Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner Program card.

The Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner Program is a customer loyalty program. Owners may earn points used as dollars off future service, labor, parts and accessory purchases. You may also earn $200 in sales points when you purchase or lease a new or pre-owned vehicle at Harvey Cadillac. These sales points may be used toward future vehicle purchases.*

Harvey Cadillac is the sponsor of this program. All points earned may only be used at the Harvey Cadillac location in Grand Rapids, Michigan.


Participation in and eligibility for the Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner Program

  • All customers with an e-mail address (required to participate), who are age 18 or over who have purchased a vehicle, had service (labor and/or parts) performed on their vehicles, bought accessories and/or parts from Harvey Cadillac are eligible to join this program.**

  • GM employees are eligible to participate in the service and Points Plus portions of this program.*

  • Harvey Automotive employees and their family members are eligible to participate only in the Points Plus shopping portion of this program.

  • Fleet customers or wholesale customers are not eligible to participate in this program.

  • Sales and service consultants may offer the Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner program invitation to interested customers in person, by telephone, or via an e-mailed or mailed invitation.

  • Each Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner’s participation in this program indicates their full and unconditional agreement to these terms and conditions.

  • The personal information that is collected from each customer in connection with the program will be used in accordance with the GM Privacy Policy.

Earning Preferred Owner Program Points

Upon enrollment in this program, the customer will receive three Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner key chain cards (all with the same number). The card is to be used for each eligible transaction for the person who is registered for the card.

If a family member wishes to use the same card, that person should understand that the credits and/or points will be added to the registered card holder whose card is swiped at the cashier’s desk at the time of the transaction. Points are non-transferable.

You may earn points for the Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner Program in these ways:

  • Vehicle purchases on and after January 6, 2010 earn $200 in sales points toward a future vehicle purchase. Limit one card per transaction; cardholder points may not be combined.*

  • Referring a new sales customer on and after January 6, 2010 to Harvey Cadillac who then takes delivery of a new or pre-owned vehicle earns $50 in service points. The referral cannot be a current or prospective Harvey Automotive customer.

  • Each service event on and after January 6, 2010 (parts and labor) earns 5% of total dollars spent (less tax) towards a future service, parts or accessory sale.**

  • Each parts and/or accessory purchase on and after January 6, 2010 earns 5% of total dollars spent (less tax) towards a future service, parts or accessory sale.**

  • Please Note: Coupons and other special offers, including previously issued Harvey Advantage checkbook coupons, may not be used in conjunction with the Preferred Owner program. These dollars spent will not receive the 5% earned reward.

  • Please note: Warranty and/or service contract work and body shop work are not eligible to earn service points.

Using Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner Program Points

Preferred Owners may use their earned sales points for any vehicle purchase (new or pre-owned)*, or their service points on service (parts and labor) expense, parts and/or accessory purchases up to a maximum of $300.00 in any one transaction.

  • Limit one Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner card per eligible transaction.
  • Points have no cash value.
  • Points are non-transferable.
  • Points may only be used at the Harvey Cadillac location.

Any returned items purchased with points will not be exchanged for cash. The returned item(s) point value will be returned to the Preferred Owner’s account.

Changes and Termination of the Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner Program

Harvey Cadillac may modify any of the terms and conditions governing this program – including, but not limited to, the ways through which points can be earned, how the program may be used, the value of the earned points, at any time, without notice, even though these changes may affect the Preferred Owner’s ability to use the points that have already been earned.

This program has no pre-determined termination date and may continue until such time that Harvey Cadillac may end the program at any time, with no notice given.

The Preferred Owner’s continued participation in this program constitutes the Preferred Owners acceptance of any changes made to these terms and conditions. The Preferred Owners are responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to any changes that Harvey Cadillac may make to these terms and conditions. The most current version will be available on the Harvey Cadillac Preferred Owner Program section of the website at www.harveycadillac.com and will supersede all previous versions of the terms and conditions.


General Terms and Conditions

Accrued Preferred Owner points do not constitute property of a Preferred Owner and have no value outside of the program. Preferred Owners points are credits that Harvey Cadillac may revoke at any time as set forth herein. Preferred Owner Program points may not be exchanged for cash, assigned, bartered, or transferred, except as set forth herein, and are not transferable upon death, as part of a domestic relations matter, or otherwise by operation of law.

Each Preferred Owner is responsible for ensuring that the information in his/her account is accurate and kept current. You may view this information by logging into your account and viewing the Profile tab. Please contact Harvey Cadillac if changes should be made.


Limitation of Liability

By participating in the program, each Preferred Owner accepts all responsibility for, and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Harvey Cadillac and each of the their related companies, General Motors, Maritz , FMR and each such company’s respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, agents, and successors, and assigns (the “Released Parties”), from and against any claims that may arise from actions taken by such member or for any unauthorized access to Preferred Owner’s account from a third party.

Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall the released parties named above be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the program even if any or all of the released parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages therefore such exclusions may not apply to you. If a Preferred Owner proves that Harvey Cadillac has improperly denied that Preferred Owner earned points, liability will be limited to the equivalent amount of earned points. By participating in the program, a Preferred Owner waives any and all right to bring any claim or action related to such matters in any forum beyond one (1) year after the first occurrence of the kind of act, event, condition, omission upon which the claim or action is based.
